Our Story
Tagine Cuisine was born from a passion for authentic Moroccan flavors and a desire to share the incredible culinary heritage of Morocco with the people of Abuja. Our journey began with a simple vision: to create a dining experience that transports you to the bustling souks and aromatic kitchens of Marrakech.
Located in the prestigious Maitama Mall, our restaurant combines traditional Moroccan cooking techniques with modern presentation, ensuring every dish tells a story of cultural heritage and culinary excellence.

Ahlam Musa
CEO & Founder - A Woman Who Turns a Dream into a Message
I am Ahlam Musa, Moroccan by origin, Nigerian in spirit. Inside me is the story of a woman who left her homeland 22 years ago, but never left her message. I have lived in Nigeria, learned here, and shaped my visions here. This is a place where exile turned into home, longing into motivation, and message into light.
In 2018, I planted the first seed of my dream and founded "Iqraa Academy," not just as a language teaching center, but as an oasis of education and a message. We dedicated our heart and mind to teaching Arabic and the Holy Quran because I believe that whoever knows their language knows themselves.
In 2024, I responded to another call in my heart: the call of memory and taste. I established Tagine Cuisine in the heart of Abuja – Maitama, as a place embracing flavors and nostalgia together. It was not just a restaurant but a message of love from Morocco to Nigeria.
I am Ahlam, carrying my name as a message, not a coincidence. I believe that a dream needs only a faithful heart, steady steps, and a spirit that never gives up.
